I was watching the Channel 4 news today and they were interviewing young members of UKIP who stated they were libertarians and yet seem quite content with the idea of using state power to limit the liberty of people to move between countries, they are in favour of restricting immigration. so to me that seems at odds with holding a libertarian point of view, because it is actually reducing liberty of movement and at the same time extending state power.
