Pulling a solid d in my onlinecollege algebra class/average is F

I am pulling a solid D in my online community college algebra class. Crazy enough the whole class is averaging just south of F. Nobody has gotten a perfect score 1 week into class. Partially it's because the teacher is picking problems that don't work exactly with the solutions in the book, partially it's because there is homework and quizzes due every 1-2 days with no break. I suppose the grade could look that way because half the class is in the process of withdrawing and getting their money back but there could be people like me. I am noticing that the graphing software doesn't seem to work right. I suppose I could mention that. I really don't have more than 1 day a week to devote to this class so I am planning on doing all the homeworks and quizzes in one day skipping the hard problems and shooting for a C or D. The homeworks are weighted oddly ,one section of the chapter can be worth 1/3 of another section. If you are late with a section its either worth -10% or 0 points if you are late in more than one chapter. Is this typical of a regular online college algebra class? It seems rather sadistic to me.

The statistics class for the same points is pretty damn easy. I wonder if it's worth it to complain. I doubt that I will learn algebra adequately by triaging out the hard questions and shooting for that passing grade

The programing in C class has too many people for the computers and has the look and feel of a cattle call. I haven't even started working on that other than going to class.
