I just tried to activate the Facebook login approval function (which is their two-step verification). Facebook refused because I remove my cookies too often. And I do remove them pretty often, especially after visiting Facebook (I don't trust that place one bit). However, I'd be willing to keep the Facebook cookies for a few days if that's what required to get this thing working. I wonder if it would work to keep them for a few days, then sign into Facebook, activate the login approval function, and then remove the cookies after sessions as usual? Or will Facebook prevent that somehow?
Yes, I know I'd have to get a code every time I sign in, but I think it's worth it (and I think that should be for me and not Facebook to decide). I don't sign into Facebook terribly often, but a hijacked account could still be troublesome.
