Part moral panic (saying the same thing about tv and computer games), part nostalgic ("oh, the good old days before the internet") and part preachy.
That said, here's my take
- The comments are terrible as ever.
- Maybe it's a symptom of something deeper in society (i.e. parents working longer hours and having little time and energy to spend with their families, largely as a result of the "big society" bs)
