Yes, I have no doubt that Rowley had the motivation. Unfortunately it the people who answer to the over all operation of field offices that decide where and how time and money will be spent and are/were continually under the gun to do so as efficiently as possible. ITS A FACT OF LIFE, get over it.
No doubt. I am glad that sitting here in 2013 that we are able to see that.
,,, and there it is. There's the big bad conspiracy, an FBI all the way down to middle management, in collusion with secret upper echelons of the CIA. Do you at least realize how paranoid and silly that sounds?
OMG, you are saying that not operating in a sufficiently heavy handed fashion BEFORE 9/11/01 is evidence of FBI/CIA collusion in a conspiracy to let it occur , and in the same breath you are saying that operating in a heavy handed way post 9/11/01 is also evidence of the very same thing? Once again do you at least realize how silly that sounds?
In fact, on 9/11/01 four DOMESTIC American airliners were hijacked and flown by suicide pilots killing all on board and thousands more on the ground. THAT and THAT alone is enough to CAUSE a huge backlash in the form of heavy handed treatment of civil/personal rights. You do recall, for instance, what the effect of the Pearl Harbour attacks had on the civil/personal rights of Japanese Americans, correct? Nothing really new under the sun here.

The true context of this via Clarke is that French intel, Mossad, and other foreign governments were warning of an imminent threat and were ignored. After Bojinka FBI had no excuse. |

I'm satisfied that I've shown enough evidence that FBI preferred the weakest charges to keep from triggering automatic responses that would have exposed a CIA false flag operation. |

The true view of that same FBI is how little respect they had for those same laws following 9-11. After 9-11 US security agencies then went to the opposite extreme to ensure a sense of fear over terror was maintained, which once again conforms to conscious cooperation. . |
