I dated a girl for three years and after the third year it was obvious the relationship had gone bad. I could not keep her entertained and I quite frankly couldn't stand her older brother. One day after asking her out and suggesting some things she was apparently uninterested in doing and not helping to decide what we would do I gently hung up the phone and I never called her again.
I'll never know exactly what her reaction was but she didn't contact me either except she did send me an unsigned Christmas card. I recognized her handwriting on the address.
One day while shopping I ran into her or rather she walked up to me and looked at me with a strange smile on her face saying nothing. I said nothing I and walked away. This happened twice.
After being without her for a few weeks I decided I was better off without her. I suppose she felt same way about me.
Its been some years now and as time has gone by I wish I had never met her.
Anyone have a similar experience?
