Yesterday there was a football match between England and Scotland at Celtic Park (home of one of Glasgow's two main football clubs - the one with an Irish republican history).
As usual, the national anthem was booed by the Scottish fans bu this is OK because it's just free speech. On the other hand, the England manager Roy Hodgson has apologised on behalf of the English FA because some England fans were singing "No Surrender to the IRA"

I realise that there is a broader sectarian aspect here (Glasgow's sectarian issues are alive and kicking IMO) but when we (the English) have to apologise for singing a song that is antipathetic to a terrorist organisation then I think that Scottish (p)outrage has gone too far - either that or the Scottish FA should have to apologise for the behviour of their fans. For the record I would rather everyone behaves in a mature manner.
