Mark Reckless has been returned as the UKIP MP for Rochester and Strood.
It seems that enough of the electorate have bought into the line that UKIP (who is led by a privately educated ex-banker and whose latest MP is similarly a privately educated ex-banker and lawyer) represents a change from political "business as usual"

Although there may be quite a large number of UKIP MPs following the general election, my bigger fear is that they may hold the balance of power and/or exert undue influence on the policies of the other parties.
Leaving the EU IMO would be very bad for the UK economy (and on a more personal level would likely destroy my business).
