I'm looking for cheap, preferably free plug-ins for Photoshop that are able to manipulate colours to end up with psychedelic results. The results I'm looking for are things that I can do easily on video editing software, but can't find a way to do easily on photo editing software. The two video filters I'm thinking of are Luminescence Band for VirtualDub and Pixelan's ChromaWarp2. Also Sony Vegas Gradient Map can be used to get good effects, but I can't find any examples of that online.
I know there are other ways to achieve psychedelic effects in Photoshop, like overlaying gradients, or colour mapping psychedelic pictures, but I'm looking for something with the same kind of control as the video plug-ins I've mentioned.
So far I've found a plug-in called Channel Mod by a guy called Richard Rosenman, which is okay but limited, and used the demo of one called "Fluron" by a company whose name escapes me, which is remarkably underwhelming.
