Gist of the article: If you are a teenager and pregnant -- intentionally or not, -- there are all sorts of services and assistance available to you. If you are childless and trying to get an education, there is very little of either. Los Angeles makes it incredibly easy for poor teenage girls to become welfare mothers, and very hard to get an education so they might become non-poor.
