I'm thinking of the little benchmarks of our lives and the joy often felt at such times. Last day of High School, Senior Year, Discharge from the Military, Last day at work, Last day of Mortgage. That sort of stuff. Do you have any amusing stories of excesses you witnessed or partook in? Here is an example: My last day Senior year of high school I rode the bus the 25 miles in the morning but my friend noting how pointless the classes are on those days, persuaded me to hitch hike with him to our homes. It started out famously as we got a ride to a major junction but then we had to walk in the blazing sun for miles and miles with absolutely no drivers passing or anything. It was so bad that our school bus which left 4 or 5 hours later caught up with us and the driver gave us a stern lecture but picked us up. Fandango from the start. Fortunately there was no booze involved, it being so early in the day. Come on folks, I know you can beat that one. Did you moon your fellow employees and accidently moon your mother in law who just happened to come by for your farewell party?
