I know four jews who through married outside their faith and had children who became neither Jewish nor the faith of the other parent.
Several years ago I was discussing this with a Jewish woman about to marry a friend of mine. I asked her why she wasn't going to marry a Jewish gentleman her reply went along these lines.
Goys are so darn much fun. She had come to Atlanta from NYC. Her only friends were non-jews. She had previously gone to a University in New Mexico where she was apparently the only Jewish student.
I didn't think it was any of my business but I might have asked her why she didn't go to college in NYC so I didn't ask.
