Yosemite discovers its names are trademarked

For decades a private company, Delaware North, ran concessions inside Yosemite National Park® but this year had their contract run out and not get taken up again. Well everyone, including the National Park Service, was shocked to find out that the company had, over the decades, trademarked the names of numerous Yosemite landmarks including the name of the park itself.

So...this has led to a national park not being able to call things by their actual name thanks to a cease and desist order from said company. No word on if the company is enacting plans made by a white cat stroking CEO.
