So, we've come to learn that Republicans just hate having their businesses take gay people money to provide them with services they will gladly offer to any heterosexual. Even the ones that have actually done demonstrably horrible things (I have yet to hear of a single Republican owned cake shop refusing to cater a wedding of a convicted child abuser).
But, here's the thing, if they are so scared of gay people money what about the gay people taxes?
After all that business they own if protected by taxpayer funded police and fire departments. It operates on a taxpayer built and maintained road. It operates across the street from a taxpayer funded park. It employs workers educated in taxpayer funded schools. Their garbage is whisked away by municipal sanitation workers. Their water is delivered by a municipal utility.
Are these businesses not concerned that as part of all that taxpayer subsidization some of it might come from gay people? I mean, don't gay people pay taxes that fund all those things that allowed their business to exist in the first place? Shouldn't these businesses be demanding an audit to make sure that the evil gay money that is part of those taxes be kept away from all the government services that help their business prosper?
Why isn't this happening?
