Crazy stuff I saw on Right Wing Watch today

Rather than start a new thread for each one of these, I thought it would be nice to have a general-purpose thread for the latest batpoo-crazy things said by right-wingers. You may choose to use this thread for that purpose if you don't want to start a new one. Not strictly limited to Right Wing Watch.

So here's just a few things from the front page today:

Allen West Blames Football Injuries On Church-State Separation

Quote:

In a speech to a Gladewater, Texas, conservative group last week, former Rep. Allen West blamed high school football injuries on the end of state-sponsored prayer in schools, saying that when he was in high school, “I don’t remember anyone getting carted off that field paralyzed.”
Interesting theory!

Michele Bachmann: Rapture Imminent Thanks To Gay Marriage & Obama

Quote:

In an interview with End Times broadcaster Jan Markell that was aired this weekend, former Rep. Michele Bachmann said that people should “not despair but rejoice” that the world has reached the “midnight hour” and that “we in our lifetimes potentially could see Jesus Christ returning to earth and the Rapture of the church.”

The former Republican congresswoman from Minnesota said that President Obama’s policies, including support for marriage equality and nuclear negotiations with Iran, are to blame for the world’s imminent demise. “We need to realize how close this clock is to getting towards the midnight hour,” Bachmann said. “Barack Obama is intent, it is his number one goal, to ensure that Iran has a nuclear weapon.”
Glad to know that the immanent demise of the world is reason to rejoice, not despair. Thanks Obama! :D

This next one is actually a falsifiable prediction:
John Hagee: The World Will Face A Global Economic Crisis In The Fall Of 2015

Quote:

On this week's "Hagee Hotline," John Hagee warned viewers to prepare themselves for a global economic collapse that will happen this fall, during which half of the world's wealth will be wiped out.

Coupling his own "blood moons" theory with Jonathan Cahn's "shemitah year" theory, Hagee warned that the world is now on the verge of total economic chaos.

"Do I think the four blood moons is a messenger of a coming storm?" he asked. "Absolutely. History repeats itself. And also, in this September, the shemitah year is ending ... 2015 is a shemitah year. September 28 is the fourth blood moon in this shemitah year. I believe, in the fall of this year, America and the world will face another economic crisis, perhaps as a result of war in the Middle East or an economic crash. But there are very sophisticated people on Wall Street saying we are facing a 50 percent correction in the stock market in the near future. Get ready. Americans should get prepared"
I have no idea what a blood moon or a shemitah year is, but this is a prediction. Let's revisit it in the fall and see how it works out! 50 percent correction in the stock market.
