Ugh. Scrolling around a page or even just changing the size of the browser window should not completely hijack my nav history and obliterate the function of the the back button.
Here are two offenders in the wild:
Some kind of jQuery slideshow, can't read the webpage without the page forcing a bunch of browser nav movements. Not sure this was meant for a large audience, but it's super annoying anyway.
Design rating: D+.
Cell phone repair site, this one is intended for a broad audience. Hijacking the default scroll speed and navigation history is bad enough, but the gratuitous parallax scrolling + every other dumb Bootstrap plugin ever practically screams contempt for the users.
Design rating: F--. Come see me after class.
