We seem to have huge amounts of raw computing power. Why is an effective chat-bot so hard to make?
Also, when will do you think we'll create software capable of passing a thirty minute Turning Test (able to converse with a person after thirty minutes and pass as human)?
And why do you make whatever prediction you're making?
I think it will be 15 years. Just a gut feeling from the little I've read.
