Hey everyone!
I am a founder of one of the growing skeptic organizations in Russia, namely Общество скептиков (Skeptics Society). We are currently running bi-weekly meetings and a weekly podcast.
Our latest podcast mentioned a pseudoscientist whose theories we analyzed in the show. The guy went raging to our social net page and said he is going to sue me for libel. I am now researching what that means exactly according to Russian law and even if that particular guys does not really sue, I am sure someday someone else will if our Skeptics Society is successful.
So I was wondering whether being sued for libel from pseudoscientists and charlatans is something typical for skeptic activism?
