"The rich do not create jobs, middle class consumers do." (Nick Hanauer)
If you want a healthy economy, you tax the rich to provide support for the middle class, who in turn buy products produced by the companies of the rich. In this manner, the middle class grows and becomes stronger and the rich still get richer . . . just not nearly as fast as they do by sucking the life blood out of the middle class.
