What are the customs concerning gifts after a birth in the UK (and other countries)?
In my country the family and other visitors give presents like toys and clothing for the baby.
The new parents in return give 'beschuit met muisjes' biscuit with sugared aniseeds either in blue (for a boy) or pink (for a girl).
