Idea for a new forum: COMMENT-IS-NOT-FREE: (to undermine The Guardian´s censorship)

I usually read The Guardian´s website. I also value open comments in newspapers, but the thing is that I´ve been annoyed quite often with The Guardian´s comment censorship. Not only about the opaque way they edit out comments that don´t agree with their views, but specially with the way they only allow comments under specific news items. (For example right now, no comments allowed in any news item regarding the Orlando shooting. No doubt to avoid "islamofobic" comments, which seem to cause much grievance to their censors.).

So my idea would be to launch a new parallel forum, "COMMENT-IS-NOT-FREE" (the name is the easiest part), that opens a new thread for every news item featured in The Guardian website. The idea would be to have a more impartial moderation, and allow for freer and more constructive discussion. Ideally modelled on the moderation of this very forum, if such thing were possible to achieve.

I admit I have little idea how to implement such project, but I was hoping to get some feedback from forum members. I´m sure among the usual sarcasm and derisive replies there will be some constructive ideas, perhaps even someone wanting to help... (one can always hope...)

Anyway, that´s the idea. What do you think? Is anyone else annoyed at The Guardian´s comment moderation?

(I´m a busy person, don´t expect me to reply all that often)
