OK, so as many of you know, I am a staunch atheist. And I believe coincidences do happen. And I also think sometimes people with serious illnesses feel more than we think. But this story on King 5 New was still really interesting but I can't find a link. I'm sure one will turn up.
Young girl named Grace (of course) has knee issue. Doctors diagnose it as some standard knee problem. She tells her parents some dead relative (sorry, memory's bad for brief TV news stories) told her she'd lose her leg but it would be OK. Parent's don't think kid is right.
Sure enough she had a serious cancer that had spread to a lung. They removed that metastasis but had to also amputate her leg. They did a reverse amputation (yay science) where you amputate the leg to excise the knee/thigh tumor but then reverse the amputated part and turn the ankle into a knee joint (it's been done since 2010). You still need a prothesis, they don't save the foot.
I wish I could find a link so we could look closer at her premonition.
But that's all I have at the moment.
