"A bit" underreported, in France a third of gas stations are in immediate danger of running out of fuel, electricity blackouts have already happened in medium size infrastructure, all over a neoliberal law about "reform" of working rights that wants to impose on the French people what most Europeans are used to at least a decade or two already, and most Americans might think is godgiven. Further escalation ahead, with public transportation about to join the strike and the European Futbol Championship which starts in ten days or so explicit target if the government, which just extended emergency laws imposed after the Paris terrorist attacks, doesn't drop the law. Support among the people around 60-70%.
