This blog has a pretty decent summary of the goings on. In a nutshell though: a woman by the name of Jennifer Keller-Burns participated in a letter writing campaign to try and get Dr. Phil Mason (a.k.a. Thunderf00t) fired from his research position. Thunderf00t responded with a video of his own and the fallout from that has threatened this woman’s livelihood as well as that of every employee at her company.
The hypocrisy is astounding. This woman had no remorse whatsoever when she was engaging in a vicious smear campaign against Thunderf00t. Had she been successful in getting him fired I’m sure she would have been overjoyed. In fact, at one point she thought that he had been fired and gloated about that fact. Once the shoe was on the other foot, all of a sudden she is the poor victim under attack from the big meanie.
There is not an ounce of self-reflection here, not one moment where she actually stepped back and saw how she created this entire mess. In her mind, and the minds of SJWs like her, they should be allowed free reign to say whatever they want no matter the impact they have on other people, but be free from any consequences of their actions whatsoever. However, others should be restricted from enjoying that very same freedom based on a very arbitrary set of criteria, namely their feelings.
The sad part here is that this will not be seen as a lesson learned, but rather a further reinforcement of what a whitemalepatriarchyrapecultureprivilege society we live in.
