Solutions to the false confessions?

This issue has been danced around but false confessions are a major issue.



So, what do you see as solutions to false confessions

1. Record all police interviews - any partial recordings are inadmissible.



Any others?

Should the police be limited on how much they can lie to a suspect or even not allowed to allow to lie at all?

Should police be not allow to threaten a suspect or make implicit deals?
