His old Packard-Bell needs to he replaced. He's had it 6 years, it's running very sluggishly and he wants a new one.
Just a desktop tower replacement.
He's not going to build his own PC. He's not going to buy a Mac. And he isn't going to install Linux on it.
Just a basic Windows box to run Word, Excel, Chrome and a few other basic applications. Preferably whatever he as will have a VGA port on it so he can just hook up his current monitor to it.
I've been out of touch with what's going on with Windows PCs these days, so can anyone recommend a goto brand? Any brands to avoid?
