I believe the last common ancestor of life on planet Earth makes nonsense of any suggestion there is life elsewhere in the universe.
This perfect planet for the origin of life should have yielded multiple ancestors with surviving pathways.
I have analysed this up to the minute treatise, below, and see no reference to this. Earth is far bigger than the universe for this thought experiment. Why would life occur just once here? The question is important, because there should be multiple instances of origin if it were that easy.
