I just listened to a podcast off the archives of the Thinking Atheist website where Matt Dillahunty debates Sye.
Essentially the whole debate was Sye trying to trap Matt into admitting he could be a brain in a vat and therefore ultimately lacked the ability to trust his reasoning. Matt would not give in so it really went nowhere.
What I'm trying to figure out is where Sye was going with this. If Matt can't know anything, well, neither can Sye, and whatever revelation he claims to have had or whatever bible he claims to have read could also be an impossible to verify illusion.
What's Sye's game?
How does me admitting I cannot know anything with certainty = God/Jesus exists?
