Credible resources on human fascia?

I have a long interest in internal martial arts and over the years I have read a lot of articles and speculation about the role of human fascia with varying degrees of credibility. The Fascia_Training^WP is representative of what I find: seems reasonable but the anchovy on the pizza is it's partly promoted by a chiropractor so the credibility of the article falls. It also seems from articles such as via Pubmed that the research is at an early stage and hence open to misinterpretation and misrepresentation.

Is this an area anyone is familiar with or with enough related knowledge to separate the wheat from the chaff?
