Safari seems to only allow the exact opposite of this: to make a new tab open with the website you specified. You can make such website the homepage, but only if that also makes it so that every single time you open a new tab, it also loads that homepage, and I don't want that. I want a blank, empty page for that.
On safari preferences, the options are:
"Safari opens with": This is where I need an option to select the specific URL as the site that Safari opens with. Instead, my only options here are "a new window" and "all windows from last session"
"New Tab opens with": Where "homepage" and "empty page" are the options. I of course, choose "empty page" because that's what I want.
All I need is a friggin' "homepage" option in the "Safari opens with" section, but there is none.
Does this mean I basically can't do what I'm aiming to do?
