Different words for different brands of Islam

When using the words "Islam" and "Muslim", we keep needing to specify or getting into disputes on whether we mean peaceful folks or the bloodthirsty maniacs, complete with arguments about which ones are really Muslims and which ones are just fakers. And both types only feed into this by claiming to be the real thing themselves.



So, does either or each side have a name for what to call the other type that isn't the real thing? If so, maybe we could adopt those words and use them instead.
