Accuracy and legality of "resource" in Hawaii public school?

So this seems to be backdoored into a Hawaii public school in order to get around the first amendment issues..I say "seems". A look at one of these that mentions islam would bring a lot of clarity, but they do seem to be teaching myth as fact here. What say you?
