"RT News Team" is the selfie of the infamous Russia Today TV channel, filming themselves while they film the world to deceive you for Putin. Or something. I enjoy it, as it's quite rough and you always know that there is another curtain behind the curtain they lift for us. So you could enjoy it as a kind of "knowing your enemy" thing, or you could enjoy it as a regular viewer of the RT live stream (none of which my enjoyment results from). By now they put out an episode every other day and just published Episode 100:
We follow Paula Slier near Kobane and Harry Fear in London. Harry Fear is one of my favorites, and among the most inappropriately named people ever, as earlier episodes have shown when he reported from Gaza. You could almost engage in conspiracy theories to explain why a bunch of these episodes featuring him are not available on the show's YouTube playlist, but on the RT website, like Episode 25 where he reports from his hotel in front of which four children died on the beach by Israeli bombing. But I'm fine with just enjoying the reporting. Now Harry is with the new RT UK (and I think he "deserves it" indeed), and the episodes are much closer to the date of filming than they were back then when July events (bombing was a day before MH-17 crashed) were covered in September.
Enjoy, rant, complain, envision how an equivalent at FOX or the BBC would look like.
