Pure speculation, but I wonder if the whole on-going dramas over sexual harassment and other gender-themed offenses in the skeptical community played any role in the decision to shut this down?
In general, independent of whether one is pro or anti this or that version of feminism, it sure seems to have divided the wider skeptical community.
So, my conspiracy theory (feel free to move this thread there) is that feminism was the last straw (e.g., the on-going controversy surrounding DJ and the FTB feminists). Why provide a platform for more drama?
