Aztecs Prophecy of Cortez

I watched "In search of the aztecs", and it mentioned that their god Quetzalcoatl was predicted to return on the same year that Cortez did with a description that seemed to match him.



Eerie prophecy or racist post-hoc propaganda by the Spanish?
