This is obviously a weird thread to start, but I am genuinely looking for an answer.
My friend whom I've known since I was 14 years old came to visit me this weekend for the first time in 13 years. In all the years I've known her she's had long hair that she would wear down over her shoulders. She has really thick hair.
I used to notice before that she had a thick neck, but this weekend she wore her hair pulled up on top of her head in a bun and I was shocked to see that she literally has a webbed neck.
When I saw her from the back I actually gasped. I know this sounds terrible but I was totally shocked.
She looked something like this

With the top knot of her hair it also made clear how tiny her head is in proportion to her body. I was sitting across from her feeling like someone I've known for years just popped out with a deformed body part. But I realize she's always had this. I thought back on her family and she's got a brother and sister who both have congenital diseases including profound intellectual disabilities.
So the reason I'm posting this is that I'm wondering if this is a medical issue that is in some way related to the issues she's had building friendships and relationships in life. She has very few friends and she's hyper reactive about things, talks very loud, very emotional. I thought maybe someone here might be familiar with this medically.
She also has very poor vision. So it just occurred to me that maybe there's some medical explanation for a lot of what she struggles with in life.
I've seen Turners syndrome but that seems much more severe (Plus my friend has given birth to a child) and she's also extremely intelligent.
She looks almost identical to the girl in this link, but with a lazy eye and darker features.
