How does that change the race on that side of the ballot?
Does Trump now try to pivot center-wards for the general election, or will he double-down yet again, convinced his cult of personality makes his election inevitable?
Do the big money interests like the Kochs who have been quietly panicking about Trump fall in line and back him because he's the "clear choice" of the base? Or do they start working against him. Since his campaign is self-funded, they can't really rattle him by withholding donations.
What will the centrist/establishment Republicans who have been making noises about possibly crossing the divide to vote Hillary do? Will they follow through?
