Question on orbital mechanics and a stealth approach to Earth...

Scenario: "Somebody" wants to arrive at Earth without being detected until they were within the orbit of Luna.

My thought is that they would line up with Jupiter (if it was in the right position) and get within the Jovian orbit. After that they'd need to hide behind the Moon. Now, would that require idiotically high amounts of lateral acceleration to stay hidden?

And no, I've never heard of the Three Body Problem, why do you ask?
