Marco Rubio and others claims that America isn't safe. I think that Marco Rubio is an idiot. America is safer than any country in history because of our military power and the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. We are under no threat whatsoever from other nation states. Islamic (Sunni) terrorists pose some threat (certainly nowhere near existential) but the biggest way they can hurt us is by drawing us into wars where they can kill Americans and cost Americans huge amounts of money.
