WiFi memory cards..... help please?

I take passport and identity photos at my business, a lot of them (between 50 and 80 per week). This means extracting and reinserting the SD card 10 to 16 times each day. Not only is this time consuming, its is hell on both the camera's SD card slot and the computer's card reader. I have worn out two card readers and had to have the camera repaired twice in the last 18 months. A suggestion was made that I should get a WiFi card and set it up so that the photos are sent directly to the computer.

So, does anyone here have experience with these camera WiFi cards and can give me a run down on how they work. For example,

1. Is it possible to have the photos automatically sent to a predetermined folder on the computer.

2. Do these WiFi cards also have memory to keep a copy of the photo on board in case something goes wrong with the the WiFi system?

3. Are there any traps I need to watch out for?
