God snaps a picture of a 20 year old MAN so he can be reunited with his family, yet:
Quote:
In North America, runaway children or youth are widely regarded as a chronic and serious social problem. It is estimated that each year there are between 1.3 and 1.5 million runaway and homeless youth in the United States (Coco & Courtney, 1998; Cauce et al., 1994). |

I understand why the family of the MAN is ecstatic with his return. I understand that they don't give two hoots about anyone else at this time.
What irks me is a local conservative, racist, Mormon redneck talk show host gets to spout how it truly is a miracle of God and then goes on to recount the fantastic odds leading to the photo being selected and published. The host conveniently forgets to mention the millions of lost children or why God doesn't think they are worthy of being found.
Then he goes on to a story about NJ cracking down on the sex trade in advance of the Super Bowl. He even mentions runaways being forced into prostitution and how it can ruin their lives. He never connected the dots between God saving this MAN and ignoring the millions of children.
Just don't get me going on runaway children who are amputees!
