Describing its mission as “a ministry of love, inspiration, learning, wholeness and joy that empowers all people to embrace their Divine Nature” the Unity Church of Tucson will be the setting for a March 13, 2014 6:30pm speaking event by a former professional actress and night club entertainer who has transformed herself with claims of God-like powers and now pushes $1000 telephone bookings as a medium to the dead.
She’s also a “super psychic” who claims she is capable of visioning lost children and locating the lost and missing while using pendulums held over maps.
And this guest speaker also claims God-like powers of levitation and even paranormal energy flowing from her body providing powers to cure and heal. More? How about her claims of being able to change physical matter and room temperatures with only her mind?
Yes, she’s the same woman who JREF forum members may recall in late October this year responded on the JREF forum (”Cocoa Beach Library books 'courageous' psychic detective”) and couldn’t dig out from her web site deceptions at falsely claiming herself as an "adjunct faculty member" with "teaching appointments" at many academic institutions, including bogus claims of teaching college accredited courses at the University of Florida, the University of Delaware, and the University of Virginia.
She's also the same visionary psychic who during her own court testimony couldn’t recall the name of any high school she attended and apparently may not have had schooling beyond the 8th grade!
Yes, appearing at the Unity Church of Tucson will be Noreen Renier, who after receiving a judgment from one federal court for breaching a Florida State agreement was shortly afterward cited in another 2011 federal court ruling as not credible and having misled the court.
And of course this is Noreen Renier who has falsely claimed hundreds of non-existent hiring’s by police agencies and on the back cover of one of her books is bogusly declared an “investigator for the FBI” --- a statement which FBI senior officers strongly denied in testimony when asked about Renier's exaggerated connections to working with the FBI.
This March 2014 Tucson Arizona speaking event is being promoted by a local Tucson group (Tucson IANDS) founded by Chuck Swedrock and Susan Amsden which is affiliated with the International Association for Near Death Studies. The group claims to provide information, education, and support concerning near-death or similar transformative experiences.
So why do they book a medium who has a 'not a credible witness' judgment against her by one federal court which was afterwards further supported when two even higher federal courts found Renier's 'not credible' ruling legally appropriate and firmly rejected on-going appeals by Noreen Renier in 2012? Those rejections brought the total to six of six federal judges having ordered judgments against Renier just since 2006.
Equally odd is that one of five guiding principals from the web site of the The Unity Church of Tucson is “Through thoughts, words and actions, we live the Truth we know.”
Perhaps a better visionary thought? Question those who promote the paranormal and its many delusional participants. Too many now are imbedding themselves in communities by talking a good tale while citing themselves as "doctors" with various medical and scientific degrees.
In turn many across the United States book and/or promote other colleagues with similar titles printed on impressive diplomas from non-accredited 'visionary' schools for just $99 for a PhD degree or $149 when nicely framed under glass with wood and gold trim. And the public gets fooled into listening to folks who too often are either delusional or liars.
And my final thought for Tucson area residents? Its always a good idea to keep your wallets and purses very, very close to you.
