Thousands of people have witnessed a fly-past honouring 10 US airmen who died when their plane crashed in a Sheffield park 75 years ago.

I kind of followed this story, and it was quite touching.
In 1944 a boy playing in a park saw a bomber crash, killing everyone on board. Since then he has tended the memorial that was put up, and a random encounter with a BBC presenter resulted in a full fly past involving the USAF and RAF to honour the crew.
