Tapatalk has changed their code so that now when you swipe up to scroll when there is an ad on the screen swiping up or down opens that ad. It is very scammy and spammy and not cool. Imagine there are three posts on your screen and one is an ad: that’s 1/3 of the screen. Then, if you scroll with your thumb up or down anywhere on the third of the screen that contains that ad, it then opens the ad.
This forum interface sucks depending on what OS/ web browser I use — the Tapatalk was always an island of adequacy and it is now unbearable too. I used to have a Tapatalk pro and then it seemed to just go away many years ago. Any forum viewing software recommendations here? I’m on a new iPhone.
ETA - problem seems to be isolated to this ad but it’s all over the forum. If my thumb hits anywhere in that entire middle space to try to scroll up or down the ad opens. Very intrusive.
