I was introduced to the concept of muscle imbalance around the time I was studying statics and dynamics in school.
It intrigued me.
Recently I injured my shoulder again, probably unrelated, according to the nurse, and said it was fine if I exercised on my Captains of Crush metal grippers and dumbbell hammercurls, exercises focusing on my forearms only, which was one of my main goals anyway.
My forearms are already starting to get bigger and stronger. Question is is this likely to hurt my elbow joint, which undoubtedly would have my triceps pulling from the other direction?
With the shoulder joint, I can see how the infraspinatus or whatever is on the back end being weaker than the front delt muscles could shift the shoulder joint forwards, but I cannot visualize this with the elbow.
