Anyway the University of York has apparently published a list of old words that are useful for the modern world/have comedy value:

I thought people might find it interesting/have views on it. However, having read through the list I am slightly wondering if it's some sort of hoax given I'm a bit sceptical of some of the words having originally had such different and to a modern ear funny meanings such as another example:
