I think he absolutely may be.
From what I understand, the sanctions Obama suspended as a part of the Iran deal will go back this summer unless the Trump administration decides to renew them. I could be wrong about these details, and if I am please say so.
If he doesn't keep the deal, he will only further isolate the US from the international community. And really, the entire world besides Russia already hates Trump. Maybe Putin will order Trump to leave Iran alone?
It will not be surprising to me at all if Trump puts the sanctions back and then tries to start a war. Though I do think that Trump is way too incompetent and unpopular to sell a war with Iran to the public.
