Someone just mentioned to me that marijuana has shown to be helpful for those going through drug withdrawal.
I tried to look it up, but only located one article about a study in New England. It was light on information. It said it was being/had been studied in cases where people were trying to cure an addiction to pain medicine or heroin, but did not want to under go the serious withdrawals associated with quitting.
Not only am I curious about learning more, but also curious as to how this would work physiologically?
