I'll be 69 soon and I used to date a girl who was so badly abused by her older brother that I had to break up with her. I've never seen a more vile-tempered person in my life.
OK forty-seven years pass and I run into him at a luncheon and to lay one of my demons I went over to him and we started talking.
He's cool calm and collected now. In fact he's downright decent. He has raised two children, sent them through college and he loves his grandchildren.
He really seemed to enjoy my company. To me this is amazing.
Any older people here have a similar experience?
