There seems to be a non-zero chance that Trump might win the US election although I wouldn't put him at favourite. My question though is how should the rest of the world react if he was elected?
It seems pretty clear that someone who had his views in any country that wasn't the US would pretty much be an international pariah. Part of me wants to believe that he is only talking out of his hat to garner attention but on the off chance that he actually believes what he says how could or would the rest of the world react?
It seems that a militarily enforced regime change would be out if the question but if he for example enacted his insane no-muslims policy would economic sanctions be in order?
I'm not necessarily in favour of airstrikes but should they be considered as part of the spectrum of options available?
Just on the off chance that he does get elected shouldn't the right-thinking world be formulating plans to get his finger off the button ASAP?
